The Light Pours Out Of Me

Why hello there! It's Friday!!! Yayyyyy!!#!!#!$@!$ I'm gonna try to make this as fun of a journal entry as possible!!!! YAY!!!

Current Mood ----> :-) YAY! Happy happy, joy joy!
Currently listening to ----> Pantera 'Drag The Waters'
Currently whatever else ----> Yeah, your mom.

Okay, so fuck that idea. My real current mood would most likely have to involve a stick of dynamite, an extremely dull knife, and some peanut butter. Moving right along... it is indeed a beautiful, sunshiny Friday afternoon here in northern Ohio, U.S.A. I am in fact listening to my collection of 190 1/2 hours of nonstop songs, via Winblows Media Player. Today has been one of them kinda days. Some of it has been pretty good; Some has been shit. Work was so-so, I suppose. I put in the now-typical nine hours for the day. I also discovered that we're probably working a full day tomorrow as well. Oh well, that's cool with me. My paycheck today was over $500 after taxes for last week, so I'll take the hours. It's not like I have much of life outside of work anyway. Anyway, besides tomorrow, we're about 99% sure that we're gonna be working the following two Saturdays as well. That's still cool with me. I don't really have a whole lot planned, except for the M.S.I. concert next Saturday night up at House of Blues. But yeah, the whole money situation is kicking ass right now. All of my bills for April have been paid already. I'm already ahead on a bunch for May, too. Sooo... the rest of my income for this month is all extra. Ya' gotta love that shit. I think I'm on the verge of making a big purchase this summer. I've been paying extra on my car payments in order to try to pay that thing off very soon. I've got a few options for my next 'big' purchase. I'll discuss them shortly, if you're nice.

Fuckin' gas is outrageous! It cost me $30.01 to fill my damn car today. That's insane. And don't you just hate when you go over by a penny?! That drives me nuts! Anyway, I was "lucky enough" (HAHA!) to find gas for a cheap $2.21 a gallon. It's been about $1.30 everywhere else lately. Hey George W.... do something about this expensive gas shit!!! Pump some of Iraq's over here into our pumps. Do something! Anyway, I'm sure it's only get worse as soon as Memorial Day weekend gets here and everyone starts the summer vacations. God bless the U.S. of A.

Baseball started last weekend. The Pirates are off to one hell of a start... zero wins, three losses. Way to go, Bucs! Anyway, I'm sure that they'll eventually win at least ONE game. I just hope it happens before I go see them play Atlanta in June. In college basketball land, North Carolina won the national championship. Good for them. I didn't bother watching this year's game, as I'm not really a UNC or an Illinois fan. The NFL Draft is two weeks away. I always end up spending the entire weekend watching that on ESPN. Yes, I know.... I have no life. Thank you for reminding me.

Music news time!! I don't know if I've mentioned this in a previous entry or not (HAHA!), but this band called Nine Inch Nails... well yeah, they have a new CD coming out on May 3rd called 'With Teeth.' Or, if you prefer the alternate spelling... 'Wif Teef.' Anyway, I've heard through the grapevine that it's halfway-decent, so you might wanna check it out. And if you don't??? I'll personally track you down and shove nine inch nails down your throat! Thank you. :) Mindless Self Indulgence's new CD comes out this Tuesday, too!!! It shall be entitled 'You'll Rebel To Anything.' And, like I said earlier, they'll be playing a late show at House of Blues next Saturday, the 16th. Doors open at 10 pm. This is a bit weird, but Korn frontman Jonathon Davis recently had a wee little one and named it... drumroll please... Pirate. Enough said.

Now back to my possibly-upcoming-one-of-these-days-here-pretty-soon 'BIG' purchase! It appears that my income is now heavily overweighing my expenses. That IS a very good thing and hasn't happened for quite some time. As soon as I hit a certain amount in my checkbook, I'm gonna go after one of the following... a) a new ATV, b) a boat, c) some much-needed musical equipment, or d) an 8-day vacation to Waikiki, Hawaii. Wooohoo!! More on that when the times comes... and it will. It's just a matter of when.

No new news concerning Kera. I was in a smart-ass mood earlier today and ended up hanging up on here when she didn't show much interest in making me a happy Dave. We haven't talked since. I'm sure we'll be fine. I absolutely love the girl to death. But sometimes, it seems as if she just doesn't give a fuck. I'm not gonna let it hold me down though. I've been there before and it's not worth it.

Well, it turned out to be a nice day. With that said, I think I'm gonna go give the Camaro a much-needed bath. I have to be at work at 5:00 am tomorrow morning, which means that my bedtime is pretty early tonight. Yep, my weekend is shot! I was gonna go check out Dry Kill Logic at the Agora tonight, but not anymore. Stupid work. That's it for now. Have a good weekend. If I win the Mega Millions tonight, this may be the last time you hear from me. Muahahahaha! -dT
