Okay, so maybe I'll try to write a nice entry today. Muahahahahaha! I love being evil though. Oh well. Here goes...
It's obviously Sunday, which means that today is a shitty ass day, because I gotta be at work at 5:00 in the morning. Woop-woop! I had to work a half-day yesterday, because we're getting swamped at work. The money is getting good though. Really good. Plus, I'm off this upcoming Friday for Good Friday. Hell yeah for that. Kera and I are going on a roadtrip for three days to visit her friend, Natasha. We're going car shopping for her sometime this week, too. We're gonna look at a Chrysler Pacifica, a Chevy Equinox, and ummm... that's it. I am really looking forward to the arrival of the new Dodge Charger. I might consider getting myself one of those. So, this should be a pretty busy week. It's gonna be warm too! About damn time!!!!
I watched Without A Paddle last night. It was alright. It had its funny moments, but was kinda 'average' overall. I've been following March Madness all weekend, too. Nick and I are having a little bracket competition. Thanks to all of the upsets this weekend, we're not doing all that hot. Oh well. I'm ready for NFL season to come back, dammit!
Umm yeah... I don't feel like typing anymore. Oh yeah, Kera and I made a very important life decision a little over a week ago. We put a lot of serious discussion into it, so it's not like we just decided overnight. But yeah, she's been off of birth control for a little over a week now. Take that for what it's worth. Or, I guess I could just say it. We're trying to have a baby. Yay!!! Marriage is forthcoming as well. Details will be unveiled by May. Okay, now that's it. All is well on this side and I hope it is on your side as well. Bye-bye, monkeybutts. -dT

Of course you didn't, because hardly anyone out there gives a fuck about me. If it wasn't for Kera, Lucy, my very small amount of family and friends, and my music collection, I'd probably be floating away somewhere, right now. I'm not at liberty to discuss Kera right now. Actually, it's just no one else's business what's going on between us. Lucy is being her normal puppy self... somewhat-aggravating. And I don't really see or hear much from friends or family. At least I got work (woohoo) and my computer to entertain me. Hopefully I'll have another entry for ya before the end of the month.
Oh... one bit of excitment before I leave: nine inch nails 'with teeth' listening party at the Odeon on Monday, the 28th. Hear the entire album a month before it's release. The gig is free, opens at 8:00, and everyone gets an extra special NIN gift for coming. Yay. -dT

...For about a day and a half more, that is.
It's Tuesday and what a day it was! I woke up, bright and early, at 4:00 am. We started working at 5:00 and didn't stop until 3:30 pm. At least it looks like I'm gonna have a decent paycheck next week. It sucks having to work overtime, but it really adds up come payday. Work, for the most part though, sucked ass today. Our line leader guy was being his normal, ignorant, and stupid self. I swear, if it weren't for me and Nick (the dude I work next to), shit would never get taken care of at that place. Anyway, after work, I stopped by Dairy Queen and treated myself to a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Blizzard. I came home and have been doing my usual routine ever since. I've been ripping even more of my CD collection onto my hard drive. As of right now, I'm up to an amazing 2026 songs. I still have a long way to go, too.
All of the news out of Alabama is good news today. Today is day two for Kera's brother's treatments. He's doing good and will be home sometime on Saturday. Everything between her and I is still a go for Thursday. She's really excited about finally being able to come up here! Tomorrow is her last full day in Alabama, as she'll be leaving early Thursday morning. She's hoping to be here shortly after I get off work that day. We've got a pretty fun-filled weekend planned, too. I can't wait!
I'm still waiting on my Roland MC-303 to show up in the mail. It should be here tomorrow, I would imagine. Also, I signed up for the Blockbuster Online thingy. It's only $15 a month. You get unlimited online rentals, with up to three DVDs out at a time. Plus, you gew two in-store game or movie rentals each money. It works out to be an extremely good deal. You can find that at blockbuster.com. My first three movies are scheduled to be here tomorrow. I ended up getting outbid on my pair of NIN Chicago tickets that I had bid on. They sold for $237. Un-frickin'-believable. I sense that we'll be having the schedule announced very soon for their fall tour.
I think I'm done typing for the night. It's been a long, partially-boring day. Bring on Thursday! -dT

What an incredibly uneventful day this turned out to be. It actually got up to fifty degrees, though, which was nice. Too bad it's not gonna stay like that for the rest of the week. Anyway, I didn't do a damn thing today. I went over and had lunch with my parents. That's about it. I've been ripping CDs onto my computer like crazy all day. As of right now, I'm at 1377 tracks. Not too shabby. I did get a little crazy earlier today, as well. I bid on some NIN Chicago tickets for $170. I probably won't get them, but who knows. I've been listening to every little snippet from the new album that I can possibly find on this interweb thingy. I can't wait until May 3rd gets here! Well, it's back to ripping more CDs. I'm working on my collection of KMFDM right now, which is gonna take awhile. I have 18 KMFDM albums to do before I can move on to the next band. Yay. Anywho, this should end up being a really good week. Kera's leaving Wednesday afternoon and will be here early Thursday. When I get home from work on Thursday, we're going shopping for fun stuff. Then, Friday, we're leaving for the weekend. Hopefully Spring will hurry it's ass up and arrive. I'm sick of snow, coldness, ice, crappy roads, and whatever else. Go away, Winter! I hate you! Okay, I'll be nice now. I hope (almost) everyone had a nice weekend. Yes, I have a little bit of hatred built up in me this weekend. I've had far too much sugar for one person this weekend. With it, I've become partially insane. I could just keeping typing and typing for hours, but I won't. I'll spare you from my nonsense chatter. I feel like making this journal thingy more personal tonight, though. With that, I'm gonna direct the rest of this entry towards certain 'special' people. Here goes. If you don't see your name, then that means I don't know you or I just don't have anything for you at this precise moment. Please forgive me.
My beloved hunny bunny, Kera --- I love you so incredibly much! I can't wait to finally have you with me this week. We're gonna have an extremely fun weekend next weekend. I know you're not looking forward to the cold, crappy Ohio weather, but it's almost done with. Thanks for loving me as much as you do and thanks for sticking with me during everything. Love ya, hunny!
Trent Reznor --- Damn, you are one overly-talented dude. I can't wait for 'With Teeth' to hit the stores in May. I wish you would've scheduled a Cleveland show or two, but that's okay. Feel free to send a pair of Chicago tickets my way, though. Keep up the excellent work.
Heather --- I don't think Kera likes you doubting her arrival. Remember... she knows where you work. Anyway, I was sorry to hear about your grandma. I, of course, have no hard feelings towards her and hope she is doing okay.
Kelly Holcomb --- So you wouldn't take $8 million to stay in Cleveland, but you're perfectly fine taking $6 million to go to Buffalo? Oh well, you suck anyway and I'm a Steelers fan! Muahaha!
Squidmonkey --- Hell, I'm not even sure if you ever read this anymore. But, if you do, why is one so stubborn? I think we can all forget about everything else and try to be civilized or whatever it is that people and squidmonkeys are.
Danielson --- Wax on, wax off.
Okay, that's it. Thank you for reading my life story. Adios. -dT

I'll Bet You Taste So Good
So yeah, I'm sitting here, staring at the little chocolate candies I bought today at Giant Eagle for $2.99 a pound. And all I can think is, 'I'll bet you taste so good.' Hence today's title. Woop-woop! Anyway, today was one hell of a day, if I do say so myself. I woke up at 9:45, so that I could try my luck once again at ticket purchasing. I managed to get two really nice seats, located right behind third base, for the June 3rd game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Atlanta Braves. That'll be fun. Soon after I purchased those, I realized that I had nothing else to do today. I got ahold of Carl's monkey butt and asked him if he wanted to go up to the Cleveland Auto Show with me. After a little convincing, we ended up driving up to the lovely IX Center in beautiful Brookpark, Ohio. The traffic, of course, was a bitch. It took us well over an hour and a half to get from the I-71 exit to the IX Center. That's normally about a five minute drive. Needless to say... it sucked ass. The car show, however, was alright. There really weren't a whole lot of vehicles that really caught my attention, though. The newly-revived Dodge Charger was definitely quite nice. Mercedes and BMW had a very nice line-up for '05. Ford had some interesting cars, including a very shiny concept car, which was totally made up of polished aluminum, I do believe. All in all, it was pretty fun. The classic car show down in the basement of the IX Center is always the best treat of them all, though. They didn't disappoint this year. There were a ton of amazingly nice classic cars down there this year. Anyway, after we left there, Carl returned home so that he and all of his people could go see Be Cool this evening. I decided to come home to be lazy for the rest of the night. I've been ripping all of my CDs onto my computer. It's a very time-consuming project, but it'll be nice to have all of my music at my fingertips. I'm still awaiting shipment on my Roland MC-303 that I recently bought off of eBay. I used to have one a while back ago. I loved that damn thing so much, but I had to sell it when I got extremely low on money and behind on bills. Shit happens. Anyway, I'm in pretty good shape now, so I decided to treat myself to an old friend. I'm still working on acquiring an Alesis Micron synthesizer, too. As soon as everything arrives, work will resume on Residue 1830. These two little toys will be doing the majority of the work for me. All I have to do is let my creativity and imagination go to work. It's gonna be fun times. Within this month, too, I'll also be switching the Residue 1830 website over to an ad-free server account. That'll take a lot of annoyance out of visiting that site, because I know that Geocities loves to pollute my site with endless ads. Oh well, that'll all be over with very soon. My poor celphone is on its last leg. It's had a very rough past month, with me beating the shit out of it and whatnot. I'll be visiting the Cingular store here very soon to upgrade to a new phone. This time next week, I'll be at the Subliminal Verses Tour with Kera! Hellllll yeah for that! That's going to be one amazing show, with four bands that I like... Sworn Enemy, Shadows Fall, the ever-so-amazing Lamb of God, and how could we possibly forget Slipknot!!! Hell yeah for that tour! I can't wait. Kera and I are making a fun-filled weekend out of it, too. We're most definitely gonna check out the Henry Ford Museum, as well. Very cool place there. I'm sure we'll find some other stuff to get into as well. It'll be fun. And, yes, she's still set to be here on Thursday. I know there are some doubters, but that's okay. Like my dear friends from Fear Factory like to say, 'Nothing you say matters to us. Fuuuuuck you!' Thank god for Fear Factory! As you can probably tell, I'm not in the mood for paragraphs tonight, so everything is just all meshed into one big ass paragraph. Oh well, deal with it. I'm in a surprisingly good mood this evening. Kera's out with Sorena tonight for a little bit. Carl's hanging out with Crystal, her dad, and her brother. I have no clue where the hell my bro's at. He wasn't home when I got home a while ago. I guess I have the house to myself tonight. Woohoo! Nobody's online... like usual. Oh wait, that's right... I hardly have anyone on my damn list anymore. I think everyone died... or blocked me (Squidmonkey!). I have a ton of junk food sitting in front of me... chocolate candy thingies, Krispy Kreme donuts, Reese's cups, some Chunky Monkey ice cream, and a Code Red Mt. Dew. Mmm... I'm such a health nut. In case you're blind or just haven't read my list of crap that I'm doing in the future, Mindless Self Indulgence is coming to the House of Blues!!! Wooo! This will be in support of their new album that is set to hit stores on April 12th. Anyway, tickets are on sale right now and are only $15. Be there or shut your pie hole. Tehehehe... pie hole. That's it for this evenenenening. Enjoy your Saturday night and maybe even your Sunday. -dT

Happy frickin' Friday, world. As the title may suggest, I have some good news today. I also have some bad news. Let's start with the good news. It appears that Kera's brother is now good-to-go to start his treatment. It will begin on Monday. There's really no way to tell just how long it will take, but the end result will be recovery and that's all that matters. As for Kera, she's gonna hang down there for the start of that. Come Wednesday, as long as nothing traumatic happens, she'll head up this way and be here Thursday. That is 100% official and confirmed from her mouth. We've got two tickets to the Subliminal Verses Tour up in Detroit next Saturday night. I'm gonna get her all unpacked and settled in Thursday night. Friday, after I get off work, we're heading up there for the weekend. So, yes, it finally appears that the wait is over. Barring any sort of freakish incident at the hospital Monday or Tuesday, everything should be good to go.
Now, onto the bad news... As I mentioned previously, tickets for the upcoming US Nine Inch Nails small-venue tour went on sale today. It was absolutely crazy! Every single show sold out instantly! Carl and I were both online for three different on-sale times. The main show we were trying to get was the Chicago one. It sold out as soon as tickets went on sale. New York, Philly, Boston, Atlanta, and so on, all sold out damn-near instantly, too. We did manage to get a pair of tickets to the Denver, Colorado, show on May 4th. Obviously, that's a bit of a drive, so they're on eBay right now. NIN will be doing a European tour after these select US shows. After that, they'll return to the States for a full-blown tour... most likely later this summer or early fall.
The Cavs lost their fifth straight game today, losing to the '76'ers, 98-89. They've had one hell of a difficult schedule lately, but they need to start pulling off some wins again. With tonight's loss, they drop to 5 1/2 games behind Detroit for first place now. They play Miami on Sunday, who just so happen to have the best record in the East. A win would be nice.
Okay, that's enough excitement for one night. Have a good weekend, monkeys. -dT
